HEAVENWARDS - FAMOUS TREES AROUND THE WORLD
The all-defining issue of our time is the ecology & environment and will remain so in the years to come. Without trees there would be no life on earth.
In all times and cultures, trees have been regarded sacred and as the link between heaven and earth.
There are estimated to be roughly 3 trillion trees on earth, more than stars in our Milky Way – but only a few famous ones:
> Trees that are eternally linked to a legend that has been passed down from generation to generation for centuries.
> Trees of superlatives: the oldest, the thickest, the tallest representatives of their species.
I photographed them on six continents, these silent friends of our soul. They have one thing in common: Each of them is unique and tells a story.
